The Federation (NWFed) was founded in 1959 to organise a print and slide (later projected digital) competition amongst its member Clubs. It closed in 2026.

Judy joined the committee of the Federation in 2000 as only the Federation’s third Competition Secretary, where for 20 years she did all the work of organising the matches. Judy was then Chairman of the Federation from 2020 to 2022, Vice-Chairman from 2022 to 2024 and Chairman again from 2024 to 2026.

Mark was the Secretary from 2005 and also the Competition Secretary 2025 to 2026.
